Yes. With only six tickets per trip, tours often sell out (but are never crowded). Book as far in advance as you can in order to guarantee your desired day and time. You can book on line or call us at 310-974-2176.
-
As a general guideline we do not take children under the age of 4. If you have toddlers younger than that, we require that you book a private trip. This excursion is not suitable for infants under the age of 1 year.
-
Yes you can! To inquire further, please email or call us to reserve your excursion. Please keep in mind that availability is limited and we do recommend booking as far in advance as possible to lock in your desired date and time.
-
Most people do not get sea sickness on board our smaller boat as our low profile does not rock excessively compared to larger vessels. However, if you know that you are susceptible to motion sickness or are worried about it, we recommend that you take precautions ahead of your excursion.
-
There is a possibility of getting wet when it’s rainy or windy and choppy since our vessel is open and low to the water. The captain will endeavor to keep you as dry as possible, but in some conditions spray is inevitable.
-
During the high season of whale migrations (Dec-April and June-July) whales are seen on 85% of all our trips. The in-between months are usually filled with mega pods of dolphins, sometimes numbering in the thousands! We cannot control the sea conditions, weather or the whales themselves, and sometimes we don’t see them. However, you will still have a great ocean safari where our captains will find you dolphins, sea lions and other marine life. We are not able to offer refunds based on sightings.

Yes! Tipping is optional, but very much appreciated. Our Captains are super dedicated and passionate about what they do. Standard tipping for boat charters is 10-20%, but a generous tip is a great way to say “Thank You!”
-
Because our boat is small and seating is limited, we require a 24 hour notice of cancellation. That will give us enough time to try to fill the empty seats.
-
Our tours run in light rain or drizzle. In the event of severe weather & sea conditions (“Small Craft Advisories”), we will try to reschedule your trip or you can receive a full refund. TIP: During the winter months it is a good idea to plan your excursion earlier in your vacation so that you can reschedule if need be!
-
Yes. We have enough life jackets for each guest + our captain. We require that all passengers
wear a life jacket on our excursions.
-
There is plenty of free parking out in front of our office. Please do not park in the yellow or red zones or you might get a ticket.
-
Our boat is small with limited seating. If you or any of your party weigh over 250 pounds, please call us so that we can accommodate your party.
-
If you are pregnant, we recommend that you consult with your doctor. We would seat you in the back of the boat where it is a much smoother ride.
-
If you have severe and/or chronic back and neck pain, we do not recommend this excursion. You should also be able to step into and out of the vessel which is a step of about 1-2 feet.
Got a question for us?
We’d love to hear from you.
